brrr....Its freezing here. I just ventured out to the grocery store, but I had to get out of the house. I was going stir crazy!

Ok, so my friend Danny tagged me to do this thing on facebook, but I'm going to do it here instead. I figure it will help people get to know me a little better, since I'm no good at doing "about me's." So 25 random facts about moi:

I currently have no job and I'm not in school. I have been visiting my mom in the States for about 4 months, and she recently moved to a new state, where I know no one. So I dont get out of the house much. The pictures I take for my blog are merely that. Pictures for a blog. All dresses up tih nowhere to go.
In Mexico, I earn my living by tutoring 6 Korean children. I teach them English and Spanish. Yes, I teach them English. In Mexico. Their parents own this huge sock factory in Mexico, and the kids came over without knowing a word of Spanish or English. It was very hard to communicate at first.
I am constantly on a diet.
I go to the gym twice a day.
What I want more than anything in the world is to live in Ireland.
I have 3 sisters and 1 brother, all of which are half-siblings.
My favorite music is probably Spanish pop. but i also love 80s music and the Brazilan band NX zero.
I am paranoid about missing flights. Seriously, weeks before I go on a trip, I have nightmares that I miss my flight.
I want to open a bakery.
I am learning to knit.
My new favorite movie is Sabrina.
I have social anxiety.
My boyfriend is a business consultant, and he just opened his first pharmacy. (opening a pharmacy in Mexico is quite a bit easier than in the rest of the world, but nevertheless, I am so proud of him.)
Since I moved to Mexico in August 2006, I have lived in 3 different cities...Guadalajara, Acapulco, and Pachuca.
I did not get an MP3 player until 4 months ago.
I am learning Gaelic and Italian. Italian comes pretty easliy, because I know Spanish, but Gaelic is in a league of its own.
I cannot stand Angelina Jolie.
If I had a million bucks...I would visit every country in the world.
As of today, I have stopped biting my nails.
My favorite food is grapes.
I am always, I mean always, cold. It can be 85 degrees but if there's even the slightest breeze, I have to wear a jacket.
I am naturally a blonde.
I take clothes from my 8 year old and 12 year old sisters.
Im so over living in Mexico, and I'm ready to move on to the next country.
I love to read.

For those of you who have ever watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this is who I felt like this morning:

No, seriously. I saw this DIY tutorial on how to recreate the Alexander Wang shredded shorts on the lovely Shini's blog a couple days ago, and seeing as I have no money to my name at the moment to buy a pair of shorts, I've been trying to decide which pair of jeans to try it out on. Last night I finally decided on a pair of old blackish/greyish levis, and this morning I woke up so anxious to start. Like really anxious. As in, I didnt even check my facebook before getting out of bed and going to the kitchen for a box cutter to begin this.

I cut my hands up a bit in the process, (and my bed sheet. yes, I did this on a peice of cardboard on my bed.) I didnt use chains, partly because I have no chains (or eyelets for that matter), and partly because I didnt think they needed chains. I like how they turned out, now I've just got to come up with outfits.

So my boyfriend has a meeting February 12 that jsut came up and that he cant change so he had to change his ticket to come the 15th instead of the 10th. Im pretty bummed, but oh well, it's only five more days than what it originally was. god, I miss him though.

I love this little man.

My face is not in these because it looks just plain awful today. I bought a pair of pantyhose for a dollar at walmart, because I like how Alexander Wang used them, and I figured, "well these will last me a few wears before they get runs, but then when they do get runs it will be ok because that's what i kind of want anyways." well, I was pulling them on and they got this huge run down one leg. But oh well, thats what you get for a dollar.

por fin! por fin! por fin! Finally!!! After three long months of not seeing eachother my boyfriend has purchased his ticket to come see me! He arrives 10 February!!! I'm ecstatic.

I was watching Full House today, and Uncle Jesse entered at the very end of the episode in this ensemble.
I actually had to use my DVR and rewind the show, pause it and take a picture of the screen. I just really liked what he was wearing. Inspiration comes from the weirdest places.

Alexander Wang Spring 2009

I really liked this. I think its because it reminds me of my mom. She has a million huge denim shirts that she wears all the time (bless her heart), which means I will have a large denim shirt collection to choose from when i decide to play around with this look.

UM OK, I need ideas. My boyfriend is finally coming up to see my family. Its been about 3 months since we've seen eachother, and I wanted to do something special for him. I printed out a bunch of pics of the two of us, but I have no idea what to do with them. So, opinions please.

So yesterday, I was shopping with my mother, and I talked her into buying me this adorable black pencil skirt that i found. Well, when I got home I began to unpack my suitcase (I have been home from visiting my family in various parts of the country for about a week now, and just started unpacking las night), and I saw this black pencil skirt under a pile of clothes. All my clothes were in a huge pile and i was going through trying to hang stuff up and i saw the black pencil skirt again. On the other side of my bedroom. I thought it was odd that it had made its way over there so i picked it up and put it on my dresser. A few minutes later, I was still hanging stuff up when i saw the damn pencil skirt again. I thought, "now I am not losing my mind," and I turned around, and there was a pencil skirt on my dresser and one in my hand. Turns out, I had bought a black pencil skirt with 3 buttons down the front at Macy's in Phoenix while I was visiting my dad, and had completely forgotten about it. And last night, I bought a black pencil skirt with three buttons down the front from charlotte russe. These skirts are almost exactly identical. So now I have two of the same thing. Oh well.

BTW, this was the looki was channeling yesterday. Its from Cosmopolitan Mexico, and yes, I took a picture of a magazine page because I have no scanner.

And as today was a lazy Sunday, I leave you all with an outfit from the other day, because today I stayed in my workout clothes all day.
